the whitehurst family:
a letter from parent to children, not to be read until you are much older
First we would like to tell you we love you! We have told you this everyday since you were a little, but we hope now you appreciate just how much we do love you. Your mother and I hope you have listened to us when we said you should get a good education, this way you have more choices in life. We only wanted you to be able to do whatever your heart desired, and not be limited. We hope that you have forgiven us for all the times we had to reprimand you for making bad choices. Hopefully, it has lead to you being a good person at all times. That's all we could ever ask of you; to just be good. Treating people how you would like to be treated is something we know that you do and do well, and we hope that you carry that through your whole life. Your mother and I pray that you have learned to be comfortable with yourself and have learned to love yourself just the way you are. You are a wonderful and special gift that can never be replaced. You are the difference this worlds needs. We are so proud of you! Love always, Mom and Dad!

No one ever said love is practical or easy. It's not something that will appear on command. It doesn't work on whomever we choose. It can pair you with someone you never would have expected. It will put obstacles in your life that you will have to overcome. Those obstacles will define it.
Love is not practical or easy, but it is the best thing that will ever happen to you.

Your love is a rare and beautiful thing. There are those in the world that would die for the love you all posses, and there are others that have it and waste it.
Please protect your love, treasure your love, grow your love, and in all things, ENJOY your love.
See you May 24th!

They say that words can come to life; so is that why when the person we adore says, "I love you", it feels like they've instantly built a home around us? Or that we feel as if they've consumed us in a cloud to float us over the moon and back? Words can have such power and strength to them.
Please remember all the, "I'm proud of you"s, "I miss you"s, and the many, many "I love you"s.

Soon the most amazing words will be "I Do!"

"But, honey, what will I wear?!"
Choosing what you will wear for your photos is almost as hard as picking a photographer to take them. These will be photos you will hang up on your walls and cherish for years to come. Sometimes, it can seem overwhelming when deciding what to wear but it doesn’t need to be. Here are some great tips to help you pick out the perfect outfits for photo session.
It's better to coordinate, not match your colors.
Please limit patterns.
Accessories can be great, especially as props.
Think of your home decor, and how they will match.
Plan ahead!!
Please avoid characters and all white or all black.
Consider your background.
Think simple and classic!
We have tried to make things a little easy for you, so here are some Pinterest Boards with ideas for each shoot! Please remember to have fun and enjoy.

All our love, Trickey Photography
Remember when you first started seeing each other and you could hardly wait to lay your eyes on one another? How did it feel when you found your lovers eyes on other side of the wedding aisle? Like a million butterflies flying around? Like fireworks on a cool summer night?
I've always imagined it would like searching for refuge in a time of crisis; a shocking sense of comfort.
Caitlin and Lucas have this way of looking at each other with overwhelming look of sweet salvation. Almost, as to say, "No worries my love, if I can't save you from the troubles, I will make sure to always have your back."

The sheer force of your love is a power that conquers all. I hope you two always remember that what you have is rare; a strength that will get you through all moments. Thank you for giving me and my sister the chance to witness such a love.
all our love and happiness,
Charlene & Georgia
